At one we are well aware of the impact recoveries have on insurer profitability, we actively seek recoveries on files that have potential with great enthusiasm.

No stone is left unturned in our effort to maximise profit and this inevitably reduces underwriting loss ratios.

As a part of ongoing training and education in the art of recoveries, all employees of the group have direct access to the Recoveries Manager, Mathew Crawford-Thomas, who is passionate about what he does and is always available to comment on recovery/liability issues.

Led by Mat Crawford-Thomas, who has more than 10 years experience in the insurance recoveries field, our Recoveries Unit has been putting significant focus on the depth of information required for successful recovery in some key areas of risk for insurers. These include the obvious areas of Medical Claims, Road Traffic Accidents, Baggage & Personal Effects and Skiing Accidents. But they have also been looking at how to improve the recovery rate for clients in the areas of Cancellations, Property Stolen from Rooms and Airline claims.
